On 3 May 2017, Brita Fernandez Schmidt, Executive Director of Women for Women International-UK hosted a night for Marguerite at Ham Yard Hotel.
Brita was in conversation with with fashion designer and Ambassador for Women for Women International, Alice Temperley MBE where they shared: news of the amazing work the charity are doing to help women survivors of war around the world rebuild their lives; tales of their 'sisters' that they sponsor; details on the #SheInspiresMe campaign; how the womens' designs are being incorporated into fashion in the UK; what motivates them in their own lives and careers and much more. All this whilst the Ham Yard Hotel kindly served delicious drinks and canapés!
The event took place ahead of the #SheInspiresMe Car Boot Sale hosted by Alex Eagle, The Store and The Vinyl Factory in Brewer Street Car Park, which members of Marguerite attended en mass!
