Michael will be in conversation with Contemporary Art Correspondent for The Art Newspaper, Louisa Buck all about this year’s tree and his impressive career and practice. Guests are invited to return to the hotel on the evening of Thursday 22 November to attend The Connaught Christmas Tree 2018 unveil in Mayfair.

This event is co-hosted with Sophie Macpherson Ltd., the leading specialist firm in art world search and is open to members of Guggenheim Jeune, Marguerite, Marguerite II and Marguerite 1938.

Female Rage and Creativity with Riposte

To mark the 70th anniversary of the declaration of human rights, Riposte has curated an exhibition at Coal Drops Yard in partnership with Amnesty International. For the exhibition Riposte has invited 30 artists to create work in response to the theme of protection.

Join us on Wednesday 12 December for a discussion on female rage and creativity hosted by Riposte Editor, Danielle Pender with four of the artists from the show.

The show will include work by: Chrissie Abbott, Esther Mahlangu, Guerilla Girls, Joy Miessi, Juno Calypso, Leslie David, Lotte Andersen, Maisie Cousins, Nathalie du Pasquier, Phoebe Collings-James and Steph Wilson.
