The Marguerite School for Start Ups

Has 2020 seen you lose your job or just make you reconsider your life decisions? If you’re thinking about launching your own company, have recently done so or are already smashing it but could do with a helping hand from our line up of experts, The Marguerite School for Start Ups is for you. Join us from Monday 19th - Friday 23rd October for a week of live events which will act as a complete toolkit for all women and non binary people looking to turn this year around!

We’ll kick each morning off with ‘your new commute’: an exercise class hosted by Frame for the 45 minutes you’d usually spend squashed into someone’s armpit on the Victoria line. We’ll then dive into a morning of interactive talks which will teach you everything from how to be self-employed and not financially screwed to how to use TikTok and Instagram Reels as a marketing tool if, like us, you’re feeling like a bit of a granny right now. Speakers will include: CEO of Belu Water, Natalie Campbell; Virtual pedagogy expert and Head of Content at The School of Life, Sarah Stein Lubrano; and Founder of Dec + Dash Legal Consulting, Ingrid Fernandez.

Marguerite members go free with the promo code in your inboxes! Non members, each event is priced individually from £7-9 so you can attend a selection of interactive talks and classes or buy a package to attend all of the all of the exercise and mindfulness classes for £30, all of the interactive talks for £65, or the full week of events for £95! If you've attended any of our virtual or IRL events before, you'll know that the programme will be jam packed with practical advice and tips!

Each exercise class will include:

- A 45 minute low impact class hosted by Frame to limber you up for the working day

The YSM8: Nourish Yourself class will include:

- A 1hr mindfulness class hosted by meditation coach and Founder of YSM8, Poonam Dhuffer

Each talk will include:

- Practical 'how-to' advice from our line up of experts, covering the most common issues faced by Founders
- The opportunity to directly ask our experts questions
- Break out sessions, allowing you to meet and discuss ideas with other Founders
- Access to our private Facebook group where we can troubleshoot any issues you might have and you can keep in touch with other attendees
- Access to a recording of the talk following the event so you can revisit key advice and tips

Fancy joining us for the whole shebang? Not only will you be fully equipped to launch a company, we’ll also post you a Marguerite goody bag. After all, deciding to become a Founder takes bloody hard work and serious balls - you deserve a treat already!
