Please join us on Saturday 20 July for a day at Hauser & Wirth Somerset where Associate Director, Elly Hawley will lead a tour of ‘Unconscious Landscape. Works from the Ursula Hauser Collection’, an exhibition focused entirely on female artists. Over the course of four decades Ursula Hauser has assembled a deeply personal collection of works that brings together a remarkable overview of late 20th century modern masters in dialogue with contemporary artists including Louise Bourgeois, Maria Lassnig and Eva Hesse.
The tour will be followed by lunch at Roth Bar & Grill and a tour of Make Hauser & Wirth Somerset, a destination for contemporary making and the crafted object located on Bruton High Street, a short walk from the gallery.
The suggested train time from London is the 10:03 from London Paddington to Castle Cary, arriving into Castle Cary at 11:27. The suggested return train journey departs from Castle Cary at 16:33, returning to London Paddington at 18:16.
