Glasgow International Festival is a world-renowned biennial festival of contemporary art which showcases the best of local and international art. 

The seventh edition takes place in various venues and locations across the city, including Glasgow's major art spaces and cultural institutions. The ambitious programme includes exhibitions, events, talks, performances and projects by international and Glasgow-based artists.

Marguerite's visit on the opening weekend included an introduction by the festival's Director, Sarah McCrory, a visit to artist, Claire Barclay's studio, curator-led tours of shows at Mary Mary, The Modern Institute, Koppe Astner, Project Ability and visits to GOMA, Tramway, House for an Art Lover and Kelvin Hall - not to mention bucket loads of FUN!
