Please join us on Saturday 15 June for drinks at the newly opened Carl Freedman Gallery in Margate, Kent. The new 10,000 square foot space is spread over two floors of a concrete 1960s commercial building which also houses Freedman’s print publishing business Counter Editions. The Gallery’s Founder, Carl Freedman and Director, Robert Diament will speak about the new space and will lead a tour of the Gallery’s opening show, Billy Childish: ‘man in the mouth of a cave'.
After the gallery tour, guests are encouraged to visit the Turner Contemporary or explore Margate!
The suggested outbound train will leave London St Pancras International at 11:12 and arrive in Margate at 12:39, in perfect time for the 1pm start at Carl Freedman Gallery.
Tickets will go on sale and the members’ guest list will open on Saturday 25 May.
